Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Made this Coconut Custard pie for my daughter Sandra.  Well she was here until the day before I got around to making it!  Sandra - it sure was fabulous!

These turns out to be the favorite of everyone.  Kisses!  Made from the leftover pie dough, butter, cinnamon, and sugar.  The cinnamon baking draws everyone to the kitchen!

  1. LOL--that is pretty funny about Sandra leaving the day before you made the pie "for her". I did something similar. My son and his fiancee were visiting yesterday. His favorite flavor of anything is coconut. So today I made coconut almond ice cream to go with our shortbread--in his honor. But he went home last night. :)
Oh, I like the sound of those kisses. I have sprinkled pie dough scraps with cinnamon/sugar and baked them, but adding butter and rolling them up takes it to a whole new level. YUM!

    1. Hi Janet, thanks for your comment. I guess it shows that we are always thinking of the likes of our children, weather they are with you or away. Those kisses never last very long, DH can't even wait until they cool off. lol Try rolling them up and cutting them into rolls. (don't forget to use parchment paper). Have a great week.
ooopps, wanted to tell you we have snow falling, our first since early last year.

  3. Thanks for your comment. I love to bake, I have been making pies and kisses forever. My grandchildren look for them when they come to visit me and a pumpkin pie is a must for my granddaughter Tiffany. We are getting our first snow fall at this very moment, I will stay right here in the house. Have a great week. Betty
