September 7, 2026

Hi friends, Sandra is in town and updating my blog.  These next quilts were all finished except a few that are out with my quilting fairies hand stitching the bindings in place.  All except the table runner will end up in the arms of a child at Children's National Hospital in Washington, D.C.  The table runner is part of several that will be used as gifts in the coming months.

Sorry about the line...have no idea how it got there!

This might be my last posting.  Sandra is trying to manage my fabric stash, but I am not doing much quilting of late.  I do take on a few simple crafting projects.  These hands just aren't what they used to be.  So for now take care and enjoy your days with those you love.

March 14, 2026

Hi Everyone!

Have you missed me?  It is difficult for me to keep up on my blog.  What about this crazy weather here in Maryland.

This is a look from my sewing station.  Earlier this week it was lovely in the 80's UNTIL Thursday when this appeared.  Thankfully it was a light snow that was gone by the next day.  It sure is pretty, but a pain in every way to just walk out the door.

Thanks to Connie, this is the block of the month coordinated for Quilters by the Bay (QBB) offered in February.  Connie put together some awesome instructions to make this block.  She also provided the fabrics all starched up and ready for sewing.  Anything patriotic makes me happy.  These are ready for the March meeting where some lucky winner will be drawn.

I am not doing much sewing currently.  Besides pillow cases for charity and prayer squares for friends not much else moving under my sewing machine.  I am still looking for a home for a portable Janome sewing machine and all kinds of accessories.  If you are interested leave a comment saying so and I will get back with you.  It is perfect for traveling and like new.
