Oh My, it is sure hot here in Maryland, we have had 90' to 100' and no change in site.  Good time to catch up on some sewing.  I am putting together this charity quilt for the Hospice House in our area.  I don't have any of the blocks sewn together.  Need a larger display wall, lol.  I am not a fast sewer, but will get this together this week. It will end up with 12 blocks, all taken (but 2 squares) from my stash.  I will post my finished photo on my next blog.

While I was on Facebook, my eye caught this quick and easy cheese coffeecake.  DH liked it and the recipe is a keeper. The recipe uses two (2) rolls of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls, cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, butter and cinnamon.

Hope you all have lots of time to stitch, I enjoy seeing all your beautiful quilts.  Have a great week.

  1. A lovely surprise to see a new post! Both your projects look great. Doesn't it feel so good to use up your stash? I'll bet by now there are parts of the cake pan where you can see the bottom. Hope your weather gets more bearable soon. San

  2. Cute quilt Betty - I made this same pattern a couple of years ago using cat fabric for the big squares. Was nice but would have much much quicker if I had not used a directional fabric. Had to really think about lay out.
